Designer wall light Gomito - made in Italy The design of the Gomito wall light is characterised by purism and organic forms, making it a discreet eye-catcher on the wall. The body of the light, which in the most distant sense resembles the end of a tube bulb protruding from the wall, is made of high-quality resin, giving the surface of the light a wonderful lustre. Innes of the body, which can be mounted either with the opening facing downwards - for direct lighting - or upwards - for indirect lighting - is equipped with an E27 socket, which is fitted with an efficient LED bulb up to max. 10 W (suitable bulb can be found in the accessories section). Fitted with the appropriate bulb, Gomito not only creates a beautiful cone of light on the wall, but also provides pleasant room lighting. Depending on whether the light is fitted with a wall dimmer and a dimmable LED bulb, the brightness can be adjusted to suit the situation. The Gomito design was created in 1974 by the designer Elio Martinelli (deceased 2004), who expanded his father's family business Martinelli Luce in 1950 and steered it towards the design and production of bulbs. His work was always inspired by simplicity, geometry and Natur.
